The transfer of Papy Djilobodji to Chelsea from Nantes last summer was certainly an interesting one.
In the end he only played one minute of football for the Blues, in a League Cup clash with Walsall, before joining Werder Bremen on loan.
The Senegalese star hasn’t done too badly since his switch to the Bundesliga and even scored in a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim.
But, in Bremen’s 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, the defender embarrassingly nodded a header over his own goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald.
